Biography of François Cluzet

François Cluzet is a French theater, film, and television actor, and the winner of the César Award in 2007.

He was born on September 21, 1955, in Paris, into a family of merchants. At the age of 17, while studying in the first year of Stanislas High School, he decided to become an actor and dropped out of school. Cluzet enrolled in acting courses with Simone, Jean Perimony, and Jean-Laurent Cochet, and started working in theater and television, where he was noticed by director Diane Kurys.
